My Zoo adventure

 Zoo Adventure

Wednesday the 18th of November the whole school was ready to go on an adventure to the zoo. We were on the bus and it was so much fun because we sang waiata and much more! It was really crowded at the zoo because another school was there. We were really excited to go to the zoo because we get to know all about other species and we got to know all the information about animals! We got split up into groups and we were in Viena’s mums group and then we all went our own way. First our group went to see the Tasmanian devil. We went there and we couldn't see the Tasmanian devil but we read the information and The Tasmanian devil is the world's largest carnivorous marsupial, according to National Geographic. Most of the time, they eat birds, snakes, fish and insects. Often, they feast on dead carcasses, called carrion. Sometimes, many devils find one carcass, and start fighting over it.

The next animal we went to was the spider monkeys. They were really cute, especially the babies because they had big eyes. They kept swinging on vines and kept on making noises. They also like to hang upside down and they look alot like spiders but bigger. Aww i'm tired said viena so we sat near the cafe and bought milkshakes and ice blocks,After that we sat on the bench and drank our milkshakes and after a couple of minutes we went and saw giraffes,when we saw the giraffes they were so tall and big and also we saw zebras too and they were cute.

We got called into the lobby so we can go home, We were so happy to go home because our legs were to tired and plus we wanted to sleep,the bus arrived and we got in our classes and lined up,we got in the bus and we were so sleepy so we slept on the bus,after a hour we woke up and we arrived at school,It was so fun at the zoo and we got to learn more about animals.

 The Horror SCREEN! In the year 2025, robots , devices , flying cars , and much more were popular. There once was a boy living in Japan named Toyoshi. He loves video games,there's one time he stayed on front of a screen for 24/7 straight when his parents were wondering why they couldn't stop their son. What they didn’t know was their son was cursed by the man who is feared by all gamers his name was Doril. Doril wanted to take their eyes and their souls. Parents believe it's just a myth, lots of kids disappear every minute and every day,what they leave is a sign of an X.

 The Japanese government tried to stop kids from staring at any screen but...they were too late.

 Doril got millions of eyes and souls which can take over the world.only Toyoshi managed to 

escape from Doril. Earth was being attacked by some mythical creatures that looked like 

aliens but with screen heads but it was too late. Humans were suffering from hot gas , 

only some people survived it including Toyoshi. They manage to escape using a spaceship.

My speech on heroes

 “Heroes are ordinary people?”

             Are they?

In my opinion on heroes,I think heroes are not ordinary people because ordinary people who do extraordinary things can certainly be considered as heroes,heroic acts have the power to turn ordinary people into extraordinary people,they can be split into 2 categories.

I think Jacinda Ardern is not just a hero she is a leader too she is the youngest prime minister of NZ and she was able to lead NZ and people call her a hero because she is one,she was able to help children all around the world and solve peoples problems.

The reason why I chose Jacinda Ardern is because Jacinda ardern was able to be there for people during the pandemic she was able to  help people and was able to give people the news they want,you may not consider her as a hero but I think she is a hero that is truly inspiring to NZ.

Why is it important to be caring and kind?

We should all be caring to one another but some

people don't want to be caring at all,Caring

is important to people,Kindness is when you help someone

when they are feeling down,Caring is about caring for

someone when they are lonely.

Kindness is one of the most important things people

should do,Kindness is not about bullying it's about

when you help someone when people are bullying them.

Caring is about caring for someone who is being judged

and being picked on you should always stick about for

someone who is being bullied. You should stick up for

them because you should care about them.

Being caring and being kind is like the same thing but

you should always do both,When you see someone getting kicked or

being pushed say stop and tell the teacher you should always care

even though they are a stranger,be kind to the world.

Why do our oceans need to be protected?

How would you feel if the sea creatures got

extinct and there will be no sea creatures, sadly

sea creatures die from eating plastic.  

Our oceans need protection because sea creatures are dying because plastic

is getting sent into the ocean and if all the sea creatures die they will be extinct

and we will have no

seafood and our oceans have many sea creatures and pollution needs

to stop. 

Every year over 1 million tons of plastic get thrown into the ocean

and many sea creatures eat it and  plastic goes deeper into the ocean and

if rubbish gets left in the ocean for a long time then it will turn

into little pieces.

Pollution is everywhere in the sea and sadly sea creatures are

dying from eating too much plastic sea creatures big

to little are dying by eating too much plastic.People have to

help the ocean and show their love to all the sea creatures.

It is sad to see sea creatures dying , we should take care of the

environment because sea creatures are almost extinct and no

one is there to help them.

We can help each other to stop getting plastic into the ocean.
