My Speech On Dawn Raids

 My Speech is going to be about the Dawn Raids.

Back in 1974 Dawn Raids Happened,Polynesians and Pasifika people were targeted by most people in NZ, Polynesians would either get thrown out of their house at the early hours of morning for apparently being overstayed their visas or their work permits, many Polynesians have been sent to the pacific islands for this cause, the reason why they call it dawn raids is because the police would arrive in early hours in the morning.

In my Opinion this should have never happened to the polynesians and their family, this was a crucial act and movement made by the government that targeted pasifika people by their skin color and their culture, Pasifika people should have gotten an apology ages ago before their last moments, the pacific cultures should have never been treated differently by racist people.

The color of pacific peoples skin were only noticed by the government himself and people that were racist and fought by the government's side, the color of pacific people should have never mattered to anyone, The skin color of pacific people were judged by most people who were cruel and mean and treated other people differently and judging without knowing their whole story. This is why we should stand up for our rights and what's good for people.

Polynesian Panthers were a group of people that fought for their own rights and did what was best for Pacific people and protested against the government. In protest Polynesian Panthers would organize Counter Raids on homes of several prominent cabinet members who were in favor of the raids.

As the cold and icy wind is breezing in my face the water is rising, the deep dark blue water splashed in my face. I am surprise as I looked out of the corner of my eye.   The sun is setting and the waves are dancing in the yellow day.  The dolphins are singing as I lay down on the soft yellow sand, it is silent and quiet,  only the sound of birds chirping and the waves splashing is heard.

The Mountains are as tall as giants and the grass is swinging side to side up the tall long mountain.  The fins of the dolphins are silky and soft and they make me feel at ease.  I am sinking down into the deep blue water.

The sound of the dolphins got more louder and louder to the point it makes me deaf, as I am looking at the sunset the water is moving towards me as if it is attached to me then i am wet and I again feel like I am sinking down the deep sea trying to get back up but I am stuck like something is holding me down.

Story

 

 The wind flies in my face the journey starts,the snow is cold as ice and the mountains are like giants ahead, the warmness is going away and it feels cold and chilly, the mountains are singing in the daylight and the snow is soft as a cushion, My head feels at ease, we start the quiet walk up, never have I ever felt so worried in my life.

My hands and toes are numb as in I cant feel it at all,  we are marching up the big large mountains, in the corner of my eye the ice starts to break but it is ok, The journey lasts for hours it starts getting cold and the snow is colder and colder, as I am walking on the ice the ice breaks and my foot is stuck in the cold icy water but i get it out and my foot is cold as winter.

I get a closer look into the snow and there are sticks and stones hiding within the snow, but I am walking and I feel snow falling on my head as then I look up and there is nothing but a big cliff under me then I run to safety.

The Fallen Soldiers

 The wind blows as the grass swings side to side,as the sun slowly sets at dawn the silence has begun, as I was lying in the silky long grass Poppies started growing and they were blood red, as I was wondering what happened here I slowly set my mind at ease.

As I was lying there thinking I heard birds singing and trees talking, there I thought this was an imagination but in the distance I heard shooting and yelling but nothing was there so I stayed calm but then  as I was about to close my eyes I heard a little sound in my ear saying “The Fallen Soldiers”.

As I heard that the wind blew in my face like racing bullets and I felt cold and chilly, the poppies were Blood red and that made me thinking why is it blood red?, and as 5 minutes passed I felt very calm and the silence was amazing but I never thought this would be this good and and self calming.

Yesterday we made tracking tunnels and how we made was that we put 1 drop of red and yellow food coloring and we then put water and mixed it and then we went outside and found a place to put it and after 24 hours we went back to the spot where we put it and there was either slug slime or snail slime because the whole lid was slimey and there were 1 ant on it

Narritive on "Treaty of waitangi"

Once there was a maori tribe,the Leader of the tribe (Neha),her assistant Ruqa and their tribe  found a country called Aotearoa,they lived there for 500 years until one day they heard men yelling and boats arriving, they saw a boat arriving on their land. “Who are they” said Assistant Ruqa “we’ll see” said Neha,once the germans arrived they went to the cave where the tribe lived, The commander (Victoria) and her Assistant (Darra) stumbled across Neha and they said “I have a treaty for you to sign” Neha felt very suspicious of their offer so she said no “ I will not sign your treaty “.

Victoria Became very mad and asked one more time,” Will you sign the treaty “ Victoria asked with madness and again Neha said “ NO “ so Victoria slapped neha across the face and Neha sobbed with many tears coming down her face, Assistant Ruqa became very Angry at Victoria so she yelled at her and said “ GET OFF OUR LAND “ Victoria said I will not leave until you sign the treaty and give us OUR land, Ruqa replied with “ NO “ as Neha is still sobbing with tears on her face.\

Victoria got mad so she said fine then I will behead your leader “ NO “ said Ruqa, “ I will volunteer to take Neha's spot of being beheaded, Neha said “ NO “ Victoria replied with “ sorry she made her final choice “ so off they went outside to the ship, Neha ran after them and said “ ALRIGHT I WILL SIGN YOUR TREATY “ as long as you give me MY assistant but Victoria said not until you sign MY treaty.

Neha signed the treaty and Victoria said “ YES the land is mine! “ then Neha ripped the treaty with anger on her face and said “ NO I WILL NOT SIGN YOUR TREATY “ then Victoria got very mad and left to find another country to rule,”YAY” yelled the tribe with happiness on their faces, “ I am so sorry I couldn't do anything “ said Ruqa its okay said Neha “ As long as you're here with me “.
